Organic Worm Castings To Help Your Plants Thrive
Healthier Soil: Fed on a local brewery’s spent grains, our worms create nutrient dense castings naturally enrich your soil. Unlike other castings, we keep the grain husks in the castings to promote greater aeration and improve moisture retention to create the healthier soil environment your plants need to thrive. (Don’t worry, the husks are light and we subtract its weight from the weight of the castings).
Reduces CO2 Emissions: While most brewers' spent grains are sent to landfills to decompose into greenhouse gasses, LocalSols customers have help us up-cycle enough spent grains to prevent over 100,000 pounds of CO2 emissions!100%
Money-Back Guarantee: If you're not fully satisfied with our products, simply contact us within 30 days of purchase and we’ll either make it right or provide you with a full refund of the purchase price.
Great stuff and the picture from last years garden speaks for itself (will email because I can't upload)! Simple to add to soil and definitely provided the nutrients the garden needed. And it reduces CO2? Whats not to like. Katie S.

Hard to get excited about castings, they are what they are. I do like that its made from up-cycled spent grains so I can feel good about reducing the carbon footprint of my beer consumption.

Love that the label tells me the source of the food waste used to make the castings! Im not a connoisseur of worm castings, but they looked normal to me. I also think they are the only castings that come in paper bags instead of plastic, which I really like too. Good product thats doing good things for the environment and the community.
Fungus gnats included no extra charge. This is not done composting. Lots of whole grain. And when opened fungus gnats flew out. I can't find how to contact to return. Please contact me. I'll remove this.
We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with your worm castings order and have tried to refund your order but this email isn’t associated with an order, so please email your order number or call. We intentionally hand pack every order to avoid gnat issues, so we are very sorry that a gnat issue has slipped into your order. If you are interested, we’d love the opportunity to send you a free replacement bag (without the gnats) so you can put our castings to the test and compare the results to previous brands you’ve used. Regarding the grain husks, our double composting process starts with spent grains from a local Chicago brewery and we purposefully leave them in because the aeration benefits they add improve the soil’s structure (but we exclude the grain husk weight from the calculation of the overall product weight so you don’t have to pay for that benefit). As a local Chicago area business, we strive to satisfy the people in our community and we’d love to have you visit our warehouse to view our double composting operations more in-depth. Again, we are sorry you are disappointed, so please let us know how we can make it right.
